The isosceles triangle theorem states that the angles opposite to each other are equal. This means that an isosceles triangle has 2 congruent sides.
base theorem: if a triange is isoceles, then its base angles are congruent.
Converse of base angle theorem: if the 2 base angles of a triangle are congruent, then it is isoceles.
